Le Romanelli préempté par le Musée du Grand Siècle

2/12/22 - Acquisition - Saint-Cloud, Musée du Grand Siècle - Le département des Hauts-de-Seine vient de pallier les carences de l’État en préemptant aujourd’hui, au nom de l’État lui-même - on appréciera le paradoxe -, le tableau de Giovanni Francesco Romanelli peint pour le cardinal Mazarin, pour 200 000 euros. On connaît l’histoire de cette œuvre dont nous avons démontré qu’appartenant au Louvre, elle n’aurait jamais dû obtenir son certificat d’exportation, et encore moins être vendue ainsi (voir cet article).
