Une tête en porcelaine acquise par le Victoria and Albert Museum
8/4/20 - Acquisition - Londres, Victoria and Albert Museum - Délectable épilogue pour cette petite Tête d’enfant riant en porcelaine de Chelsea (ill. 1) acquise par le Victoria and Albert Museum en fin d’année passée, huit ans après sa redécouverte sur un marché aux puces breton par un antiquaire anglais à la retraite, Louis Woodford. Dévoilée sur le marché de l’art londonien en avril 2013 par la maison Bonham’s, la petite effigie alors ravalée n’avait pas manqué d’attirer l’attention du musée britannique qu’elle rejoint aujourd’hui grâce au soutien de l’Art Fund.
