Un tableau de Nicolas-René Jollain acquis par la Society of the Cincinnati, à Washington

23/9/10 – Acquisition – Washington, The Society of the Cincinnati – Thomas François Lenormand de Victot, lieutenant des vaisseaux du roi, participa à la guerre d’Indépendance américaine et fut blessé au combat lors de la prise de Grenade par la Marine française le 7 juillet 1779. Il fut à cette occasion décoré de l’Ordre Royal et Militaire de Saint-Louis.
