26/6/26 - Appointment - Paris, Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris - In the musical chairs game of recent months at the helm of the major Parisian museums, one seat was still missing: the Petit Palais. Annick Lemoine, who left in March for the Musée d’Orsay (see the news item of 25/2/26) — following in the footsteps of her predecessor Christophe Leribault, who, before the Louvre (see the news item of 25/2/26) and Versailles (see the news item of 9/2/24), had left the Petit Palais for Orsay in the autumn of 2021 (see the news item of 14/9/21) — had left the post vacant. The suspense came to an end at the beginning of this week, with the City of Paris and Paris Musées announcing the appointment of Ophélie Ferlier-Bouat, who will take up her duties on 1 September.
