Nouvelle compétition entre le Getty Museum et la National Gallery de Londres

19/4/18 - Acquisitions - Los Angeles, The J. Paul Getty Museum - En août dernier, le Musée Getty annonçait l’acquisition de seize dessins et un tableau de Watteau (voir la brève du 22/8/17) qui viennent de faire l’objet d’une exposition qui se terminera dimanche prochain 22 avril (ill. 1). Il manque cependant deux feuilles à cet accrochage : le John Martin (ill. 2) et l’huile sur papier de Rubens représentant une Tête d’Africain portant un turban (ill. 3).
