Des pièces de Thomas Chippendale offertes au Victoria and Albert Museum

18/6/19 - Acquisition - Londres Victoria and Albert Museum - Parmi les dix grandes demeures historiques anglaises toujours en mains privées, réunies en un consortium appelé Treasure Houses of England, Harewood House fut construite entre 1759 et 1772 dans le Yorkshire de l’Ouest pour Edwin Lascelles, premier baron de Harewood, riche propriétaire de plantations dans les Antilles. Elle appartient aujourd’hui encore à la famille Lascelles, et est ouverte au public.
