Bénédicte Gady appointed director of the Musées des Arts Décoratifs

28/8/25 - Appointment - Paris, Musée des Arts décoratifs - Her permanent appointment to the position she had been holding on an interim basis for almost a year is not really a surprise, as she has the unanimous support of the people who work with her: Bénédicte Gady has been appointed director of the Musées des Arts Décoratifs, that is, of the Musée des Arts décoratifs itself and of the Musée Nissim de Camondo. She had replaced Christine Macel on 16 October 2024, after the latter was the subject of an internal investigation, and who will leave the museum for good in October (see the news item of 18/10/24),
