A subscription launched by the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes
23/2/26 - Subscription - Rennes, Musée des Beaux-Arts - Camille Boiry is a little-known name, but he was nevertheless one of the artists highlighted by the Rennes 1922 exhibition organised in 2022 by the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes (see the article). We reproduced at that time a painting by him, The Bagpipers, while another article devoted to the “Underground Worlds” exhibition at Louvre-Lens was illustrated by his Dante in Hell, belonging to the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Tours. These two works demonstrated the variety of his inspiration, between Symbolism and Realism.
