5/9/07– Acquisition – Edimbourg, National Gallery of Scotland – La National Gallery of Scotland vient de faire l’acquisition d’une Tête de Christ par Paul Delaroche (ill. 1) qui serait préparatoire au décor de l’église de La Madeleine à Paris. Le musée écossais a identifié le modèle, peut-être sur la foi d’une inscription, avec le paysagiste Eugène Buttura [Note du 10 septembre 2007 : Michael Clarke, directeur de la National Gallery of Scotland, que nous n’avions pu joindre avant d’écrire cette brève, nous a confirmé très aimablement…
