30/9/05 – Acquisition - Houston - Museum of Fine Arts - L’année dernière, ce musée avait acquis un Portrait de femme de Rembrandt (voir la brève du 22/6/04). Son directeur Peter Marzio, souhaiterait compléter la représentation du XIXe siècle, et notamment celle du paysage, genre majeur dans l’évolution de la peinture à cette époque. En 2002, son choix s’était porté sur un très grand format de Gustave Courbet, le Coup de vent.
