Un tableau de Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff acquis par le Museum Prinsenhof Delft

17/3/17 – Acquisition – Delft, Museum Prinsenhof Delft – Membre d’une famille d’artistes - son père, Jacob Willemsz Delff, fut essentiellement portraitiste, ses deux frères Rochus Jacobsz Delff et Willem Jacobsz Delff respectivement portraitiste et graveur - Cornelis Jacobsz est surtout connu comme peintre de natures mortes et de scènes de cuisine dans la manière de Pieter Aersten. C’est pourtant une scène religieuse, Le Songe de Jacob que le Museum Prinsenhof Delft a acquis à la Tefaf Maastricht auprès de la galerie Lawrence Steingrad Fine Arts.
