Un Gérard pour Varsovie
16/2/21 - Acquisition - Varsovie, Musée national - Le Musée national de Varsovie vient d’acheter à Paris, auprès de la galerie Éric Coatalem, un beau portrait de femme (ill. 1), celui de la comtesse Katarzyna Starzenska (1782-1862) par François Gérard. L’œuvre n’est pas citée dans le catalogue de l’exposition «François Gérard portraitiste» en 2014 au château de Fontainebleau (voir l’article), où était exposée la réduction autographe conservée à Versailles (ill. 2).
