2/10/10 – Acquisition – Paris, Musée du Louvre – Français, peut-être formé dans l’atelier des Coustou, Louis-François Roubiliac partit en 1730 pour Londres et devint l’un des plus importants sculpteurs anglais du XVIIIe siècle. L’essentiel de son œuvre se répartit entre les monuments funéraires (dont plusieurs furent réalisés pour Westminster Abbey) et les portraits.
