Le North Carolina Museum of Art, acquiert une sculpture de William Wetmore Story

31/1/19 - Acquisition - Raleigh, North Carolina Museum of Art - On avait perdu la trace de cette sculpture de l’Américain William Wetmore Story. Elle fut achetée par un Anglais, Frederick Noel Hamilton Wills (1887-1927) qui fonda un pensionnat en 1920 dans le Gloucestershire, le Rendcomb College, où elle se trouvait depuis. Elle a finalement rejoint les États-Unis en 2018, acquise par le North Carolina Museum of Art, grâce à des amis du musée, Anne Faircloth et Frederick Beaujeu-Dufour.
