Fabrizio Moretti opens a gallery in Paris
15/9/23 - Art market - Paris - There could be no better symbol of the dynamism of the Paris art market than the arrival of a new gallery devoted to old painters. The one that has just opened its doors on Place du Louvre, next to the church of Saint-Germain-l’Auxerrois, and will be run by Giulia Giustiniani, is no stranger to art lovers, as it is a new exhibition location for Galerie Moretti.
Fabrizio Moretti opened his first gallery in Florence in 1999, before moving to London in 2005 and opening an annex in Monaco in 2017. He thus joins the many Italian dealers who have already been present in Paris for a very long time, including Giovanni Sarti, Maurizio Canesso and Maurizio Nobile, helping to reinforce the French capital as an important location for the Old Masters market.
