Chefs-d’œuvre de l’Art nouveau chez Sotheby’s

15/2/13 - Marché de l’art - Paris - Gallé, Daum, Majorelle, Guimard, Lalique... Les plus grands noms de l’Art nouveau figurent dans la vente que Sotheby’s organise demain à Paris. Les œuvres mises aux enchères sont issues du Garden Museum à Tokyo, institution privée créée pour présenter la collection de Takeo Horiuchi. Celui-ci se passionna tout d’abord pour Tiffany, puis accumula les œuvres Art nouveau, essentiellement françaises, pour l’influence asiatique qu’elles trahissent, et japonaise en particulier.
