Bénédicte Gady appointed interim director of the Musée des Art décoratifs and Musée Nissim de Camondo
18/10/24 - Appointment - Paris, Musée des Arts décoratifs - This did not really come as a surprise. Christine Mancel, who had been appointed Director of the museums of the Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs (Musée des Arts Décoratifs and Musée Nissim de Camondo), will have remained in this position for a total of two years. She left following an investigation into the climate within the institution, which had seen a number of staff depart. Until the end of her secondment in October 2025, she will remain scientific and artistic advisor to UCAD President Johannes Huth.
