A new portrait by Jacques-Émile Blanche for Orsay
16/4/25 - Acquisition - Paris, Musée d’Orsay - The Musée d’Orsay announced last week that a new portrait by Jacques-Émile Blanche has joined its collections. It was acquired from the Robilant+Voena gallery, which presented it at Fine Arts Paris in 2021. Since then, it has been featured in the gallery’s exhibition dedicated to men’s fashion at its London address - Style. A Journey of Elegance from Anthony van Dyck to Kehinde Wiley - in June 2023, to mark the reopening of the National Portrait Gallery in London after three years of renovation work.
