Girodet and Gérôme at auction

29/5/24 - Art market - Paris - Still on view at the Hôtel Drouot tomorrow, Thursday 30 May, several important works will be auctioned the following day by the Rémy Le Fur and Daguerre auction houses.
The former will offer a group of works by Girodet from the artist’s heirs, the Becquerel family, whose important collection from the same source is now kept at the Musée Girodet in Montargis.
