After Orsay and Versailles, Christophe Leribault takes the helm of the Louvre
25/2/26 - Appointment - Paris, Musée du Louvre - Christophe Leribault has just achieved an almost complete sweep, as he is expected to be appointed today as head of the Musée du Louvre, replacing Laurence des Cars.
While the name circulating widely had been Hervé Lemoine, we learned two days ago that it would not be him who becomes president of the Louvre, but Christophe Leribault. This information was eventually revealed by Le Parisien and confirmed by Le Monde. There will therefore not be two Lemoine appointments today at the head of the major public institutions (see the previous news item).
