An unpublished painting by Quentin Varin acquired and restored by Rennes
29/10/24 - Acquisition - Rennes, Musée des Beaux-Arts - This is an astonishing painting that has recently been added to the collections of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rennes. Acquired in 2023 from the Turquin gallery, it had to be restored before it could be displayed and reproduced properly. This has now been done (ill. 1) after the Arcanes workshop finished restoring it to its former glory.
