An important sixteenth-century drawing for the Petit Palais
15/1/26 - Acquisition - Paris, Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris - The Petit Palais has enriched its French sixteenth-century graphic holdings with an exceptional sheet (ill. 1), connected with the first School of Fontainebleau, attributed to the Master of Flora or more probably to Antoine Caron, two attributions proposed with caution. Sold by Artcurial on 26 March 2025, it was acquired for €52 480 (fees included) with the support of the Fondation La Marck (La Marck Foundation).
