Un dessin de Hackert acquis par Hambourg

19/1/21- Acquisition - Hambourg, Kunsthalle - Arrivé en Italie à l’âge de trente ans, le paysagiste allemand Jakob Philipp Hackert ne devait plus quitter la péninsule, parcourant la campagne romaine avec son frère Johann Gottlieb, devenant le peintre du roi de Naples Ferdinand IV de 1786 à 1799, puis se rendant en Toscane où il termina sa vie.

La Kunsthalle de Hambourg vient d’acquérir, auprès de la galerie romaine Antonacci Lapiccirella Fine Art, un dessin de Hackert, daté de 1794, alors qu’il se trouvait à Naples, et représentant le jardin anglais de Caserte.
