“Charles Mozin was the painter of Trouville, just as Le Poittevin was the painter of Étretat.” That is what we wrote in 2020 about the Eugène Le Poittevin retrospective at the Musée des Pêcheries in Fécamp (see the article). This statement is confirmed by the current exhibition at the Villa Montebello, the museum of Trouville-sur-Mer, a town whose municipality - which is rare enough to be noted - takes good care of its heritage, as we will have the opportunity to explain in a forthcoming article.
