Louvre: Laurence des Cars placed under supervision
We recently wrote that the public body responsible for Notre-Dame no longer had any reason to exist, the restorations to come having no connection whatsoever with the fire (see the article). The Minister of Culture has just given us striking proof of this: appointing Philippe Jost, its president, as chaperone to Laurence des Cars. This therefore means that he has time to spare. He is going to carry out a mission to “reorganise in depth” the Louvre Museum. This is what we have learned from various media outlets, no statement from the ministry having for the moment been issued.
