7/5/26 - Acquisition - Utrecht, Centraal Museum - This work by Gerard van Honthorst was exhibited at the TEFAF Maastricht by the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, eager to present its new acquisition as a preview in a place where all the players in the art world gather — historians, curators and dealers. The museum also took the opportunity to announce a major retrospective entitled “Gerard van Honthorst — In Every Respect Different from Rembrandt”, inaugurated on 25 April, to which we shall return.
