14/11/06 – Exposition – Paris, Musée du Louvre – Parallèlement aux sept expositions consacrées au dessin italien (et dont nous parlerons bientôt à travers leurs catalogues), le Louvre organise un discret mais superbe accrochage de gravures italiennes du seicento provenant de la collection Edmond de Rothschild. Pas de catalogue, hélas, mais une petite brochure de 8 pages qui peut être retirée auprès du comptoir d’accueil du musée.

On connaît mal, finalement, les estampes italiennes du XVIIe siècle, rarement exposées et quelque peu sous-estimées, en dehors de celles de Giovanni…
