A legal action by associations against the denaturing of the Pavillon des Sources

13/1/25 - Heritage - Paris, pavillon des Sources - On La Tribune de l’Art, we have spoken at length about the scandal of the Institut Curie, which demolished an Art Deco building (see the news item of 20/9/23), and which was preparing to do the same for the Pavillon des Sources of Marie Curie (see the articles). A major mobilisation, and in particular the action of Baptiste Gianeselli, widely reported in the media, prevented the demolition. But while the building - which was initially supposed to be ‘moved’, which was clearly not credible - will be preserved, it will be absorbed by a new edifice, out of scale, which will distort the ensemble intended…
