12/11/06 – Acquisition– Edinburgh, Scottish National Portrait Gallery – Les acquisitions de portrait britanniques par les musées du Royaume-Uni sont particulièrement nombreuses. Régulièrement, La Tribune de l’Art se fait l’écho de ces achats dans un genre qui est l’un des titres de gloire de l’art d’outre-manche, comme le montre en ce moment même l’exposition du Grand Palais Portraits publics, portraits privés (voir, récemment, les brèves du 22/10/06, 11/8/06, 21/7/06...)

C’est au tour de la Scottish National Portrait Gallery d’acquérir l’un de ces portraits,…
