23/10/14 - Acquisition - Auckland, The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki - L’œuvre était visible à la foire de Maastricht en 2013 sur le stand de la galerie new-yorkaise Lawrence Steigrad Fine Arts, qui l’a finalement vendue à un musée de Nouvelle-Zélande, The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.

Il s’agit d’un portrait de famille réalisé par Jan Mytens, peintre de La Haye influencé par Van Dyck, qui devint membre de la guilde de Saint-Luc vers 1639. Il fut également l’un des fondateurs d’une corporation de peintres, «De Pictura», à laquelle il consacra…
