The MNAHA, Luxembourg’s National Museum of Archaeology, History and Art, is looking to refine its selection of works by Berthe Brincour (1879-1947)! Can you help us in our efforts?

In June 2026, the museum will present a retrospective on this Luxembourgish artist, who was as exceptional as she was modern. This will be the first monographic exhibition dedicated to Berthe Brincour by the museum in almost 80 years. Upon her death, a tribute was paid to her
at the Fëschmaart following the artist’s bequest of her entire oeuvre to the State in 1947.

In this context, we are actively seeking oil paintings, drawings, documents, or any other material related to the artist’s career. If you are in possession of any items belonging to or related to Berthe Brincour, please do not hesitate to contact us by email.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
