9/5/25 - Exhibition - Montauban, Musée Ingres - While the exhibition of the preparatory drawings for The Vow of Louis XIII - in fact a display of some of the finest drawings from the collection held by the Musée Ingres - comes to an end in ten days’ time, a visit to the Musée Ingres is a must, even for those who know it well. For at least the next two years, the large painting in the cathedral will be on loan to the museum, allowing it to be admired much more clearly than when it is in its usual place.
Closed almost five years ago due to the digging of a car park on the forecourt (!),…
