In Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire abolishes the position of Deputy in Charge of Heritage

The new mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire, has thus 36 deputies, not one less. Each was assigned several responsibilities. There is, as an indicative list only, a deputy for nightlife, a deputy for overseas territories, a deputy for international relations, a deputy for popular education, a deputy for animal welfare, a deputy for independent media… and more besides, some even better.

But what a surprise: no deputy in charge of heritage! Paris is, as everyone knows, a city without heritage, or at least a city where heritage is considered less important than overseas territories, nightlife, or independent media… Above all, it is a city where heritage is treated by…
