This year, the Bella Maniera association is offering two forms of financial assistance.

The first is the Bella Maniera Scholarship. Its aim is to support research into early and nineteenth-century drawings by encouraging the mobility of researchers in the graphic arts departments of public institutions around the world. The winner of the Bella Maniera Bursary will receive a grant of €2,000 to continue his or her work in developing and promoting early 19th-century drawing.

The second opportunity, for a first edition, is publication aid. It provides funding for a publication project on early 19th-century drawing. The prize, worth €3,000, is intended to support the production of an article, exhibition catalogue, monographic or thematic book.

Entries are invited by midnight (Paris time) on 17 November.

All art historians (students, heritage or art market professionals, independent researchers, etc.) are eligible to apply, regardless of nationality or age.
