As part of my academic research, which involves compiling a summary catalogue of the works of sculptor Laure Coutan-Montorgueil (1855-1915), also known as Laure Martin, I am currently seeking anyone who may own works by the artist or have information about her.
Active from the early 1870s until the end of her life, Laure Coutan-Montorgueil began her career by producing numerous terracotta works before turning to more ambitious formats in bronze and marble. Any information relating to her work and career (artworks, correspondence, photographs, archives, family or institutional documents) would be invaluable in advancing my research.
