Une peinture de Jacopo Vignali pour The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center

12/5/15 - Acquisition - Poughkeepsie, Vassar College, The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center - Ce musée d’université américain, situé dans l’État de New York, a récemment pu acheter à la foire de Maastricht, sur le stand de Robilant + Voena, une peinture de Jacopo Vignali représentant Moïse sauvée des eaux (ill. 1), qui était passée en vente à Florence chez Pandolfini le 28 octobre 2014. Le Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center possédait déjà, depuis 1937, une des deux esquisses à l’huile connues pour cette composition (ill. 2).
