The Currier Museum of Art achète un tableau de Pechstein

22/11/16 - Acquisition - Manchester (New Hamphire), The Currier Museum of Art - Le tableau est peint sur ses deux faces : il montre un paysage d’un côté, de l’autre un intérieur avec un nu féminin et une nature morte. Cette œuvre de Max Pechstein, peinte avant la Grande Guerre, a été achetée par The Currier Museum of Art de Manchester (New Hampshire, États-Unis) dans une vente de Christie’s le 12 mai à New York. Le musée lui consacrera une exposition «Paradis perdu : un mystère à double face de Max Pechstein» à partir du 25 novembre.
