23/5/14 - Incendie - Glasgow, School of Art - Une fois de plus, un incendie vient porter un coup particulièrement sévère au patrimoine. La célèbre Glasgow School of Art de Rennie Mackintosh a en effet été aujourd’hui en partie détruite par le feu.
Nous n’avons malheureusement aucun moyen de connaître les dégâts exacts et nous ne pouvons que répéter ce que disent les médias britanniques. Si l’on en croit The Guardian, il est probable que toute l’aile ouest du bâtiment a été détruite, ce qui inclut notamment la bibliothèque et la «hen run», une galerie vitrée qui se trouvait au sommet de l’édifice.
