The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is launching a crowfunding (from this page), in collaboration with the Sauvegarde de l’art français, to purchase a tapestry from the Gardener Children hanging. Enthusiasts, collectors and museum curators are flocking to Drouot, where pieces from the 17th-century to the 18th-century are on display today and next Monday, prior to their sale on Tuesday 10 October.
