Une terre cuite de Dannecker pour le Louvre

18/12/20 - Acquisition - Paris, Musée du Louvre - Le Musée du Louvre a acquis aux enchères, à Stuttgart, chez Nagel Auktionen, pour 31 200 € (frais inclus [1]) un projet de pendule de Johann Heinrich Dannecker (ill. 1 et 2).
Mal connu en France, celui-ci fut incontestablement l’une des révélations de la très belle exposition que le Louvre avait consacrée à la terre cuite de 1740 à 1840, L’esprit créateur. De Pigalle à Canova (voir l’article).
