6/8/19 - Acquisitions - Washington, National Gallery et Châtenay-Malabry, Maison de Chateaubriand - Le tableau d’Henri Lehmann (ill. 1), que vient d’acquérir la National Gallery de Washington auprès de la galerie Aaron qui l’avait exposé lors de la dernière Tefaf à Maastricht, n’est pas répertorié dans le catalogue raisonné de Marie-Madeleine Aubrun. L’œuvre est signée et datée de 1837 en haut à droite. Il s’agit donc d’une peinture de jeunesse, alors que Lehmann était encore très proche stylistiquement de son maître.
