4/5/09 – Restauration – Eglise San Lorenzo in Lucina – La production italienne de Vouet est décidément à l’honneur en ce moment. Après Nantes, Besançon l’honore d’une brillante rétrospective (voir recension), tandis qu’une toile de son épouse, probablement peinte à Rome, a été acquise récemment par le Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nantes (voir brève du 23/04/09). En Italie même, une de ses plus importantes toiles transalpines vient d’être présentée de nouveau à son emplacement habituel, après restauration [1]. Il s’agit de La Tentation de saint François (ill. 1), réalisée pour la chapelle…
