Don d’une sculpture d’Hendrick de Keyser au Rijksmuseum

6/8/12 - Acquisition - Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum - Né à Utrecht en 1565 mais ayant vécu essentiellement à Amsterdam, le néerlandais Hendrick de Keyser, fils du peintre Thomas de Keyser, est connu à la fois comme architecte et sculpteur. L’un de ses chefs-d’œuvre est le mausolée de Guillaume le Taciturne, dans la Nieuwe Kerk de Delft, qui associe d’une façon magistrale ces deux arts.
