13/1/04 - Acquisition - Kingston, Agnes Etherington Art Centre (Queen’s University) - Ce musée canadien bénéficie depuis plusieurs années de la générosité d’Alfred Bader, un marchand de tableau et collectionneur, et de son épouse Isabel. De nombreuses peintures hollandaises, notamment d’élèves et de suiveurs de Rembrandt lui ont ainsi été données (en 2002, un Gerbrand van den Eeckhout, Le songe de Jacob et un Art de Gelder, Judah et Tamar).

L’an dernier, c’est un panneau attribué à Rembrandt lui-même qu’ils ont offert.…
