Une tête de Vierge de Pietro Bernini retrouve son emplacement d’origine

3/9/10 – Restauration – Amantea (Calabre), Oratorio dei Nobili – Au début du XIXe siècle, un relief en marbre de Pietro Bernini, conservé sur l’autel majeur de l’Oratorio dei Nobili à Amantea dans la province de Cosenza en Calabre et représentant La Nativité (ill. 1), fut mutilé par les troupes napoléoniennes en 1806-1807. La Vierge, notamment, y perdit sa tête.
