21/10/14 - Acquisition - New London, The Lyman Allyn Art Museum - «Venez à moi», invite le Christ [1], debout, les bras ouverts, vêtu d’un habit nuancé de roses et de violets. Il apparaît dans une lumière d’aurore, au sein d’un paysage lacustre et montagneux, ponctué de cyprès.
Ce vitrail fut réalisé dans les ateliers de Tiffany en 1924 pour l’église unitarienne-universaliste de toutes les âmes (All Souls Church) à New London (Connecticut). L’œuvre fut offerte par la fille d’Anna Chaplin Rumrill en mémoire de celle-ci, membre de la communauté et décédée en 1919.
