Un tableau de Gustave Caillebotte entre à Orsay par dation
1/9/22 - Acquisition - Paris, Musée d’Orsay - En attendant que se concrétise enfin l’acquisition par Orsay du chef-d’œuvre de Gustave Caillebotte Le Canotier au chapeau haut de forme que nous annonçons comme plus que probable depuis mars (voir cet article), le musée parisien vient de s’enrichir d’un autre tableau important de l’artiste, qui se trouvait encore chez un arrière-petit-fils du frère de celui-ci, Martial Caillebotte, grâce au mécanisme de la dation [1]. Il s’agit d’une grande toile peinte en 1885, intitulée Les Soleils, jardin du Petit Gennevilliers.
