21/4/17 - Acquisition - Stockholm, Nationalmuseum - Le Nationalmuseum de Stockholm a pu acquérir chez Sotheby’s Londres le 6 juillet 2016 une vue de Rome par Eugen Napoleon Neureuther, adjugée 137 000 livres (frais inclus).

Neureuther se forma à Munich et y mena toute sa carrière de peintre, de graveur et d’illustrateur. Il fut notamment directeur de la Manufacture de porcelaine de Nymphenburg entre 1848 et 1856, puis professeur à l’École royale des arts appliqués.
