13/11/08 – Acquisition – Pau, Musée national du château – On sait que le château de Pau collectionne en priorité ce qui se rapporte à Henri IV. Lors de la première vente de la collection Aldecoa, le 15 octobre 2008 à Drouot (Etude Beaussant-Lefèvre), il a préempté pour la somme de 60 765 € (frais inclus), un Portrait de Sixte Quint par Filippo Bellini [1], peintre originaire d’Urbino. On sait que ce pape, au début de son court pontificat (1585-1590) avait excommunié le futur Henri IV parce qu’il s’était rétracté en 1576 de sa conversion au catholicisme au moment de la Saint-Barthélémy.
