Un paysage de Salomon Van Ruysdael pour le Barber Institute

30/5/19 - Acquisition - Birmingham, Barber Institute of Fine Arts - Grâce à l’Acceptance in Lieu (équivalent britannique de la dation), le Barber Institute s’enrichit d’un paysage de Salomon Van Ruysdael qui n’avait jusqu’alors jamais été exposé publiquement. Il provient de la collection des vicomtes Dungannon. Il est, depuis le 24 mai, présenté au sein de la Red Gallery aux côtés d’autres paysages hollandais du siècle d’or, celui de son neveu Jacob Van Ruisdael et ceux tout juste antérieurs de Pieter Molijn et Jan Van Goyen.
